Our Story

Chef and Shelly

The beginning

From a Parkside Bistro in Ft Wayne, Indiana (Park Place) to a lakeside restaurant in Hamilton, Indiana (Pier 32), Chef and Shelly have journeyed to build their own dream restaurant! They worked in East Portland (Rumpspankers) as well as a restaurant-music-dance venue in North Portland ( The Village Ballroom). They ran a restaurant, bar, and music venue in Selma, Oregon (The Madd Moose) eventually ending up in Grants Pass. They currently own and operate their pride and joy… The Horny Goat!

Of course, it’s impossible to run a place like the Horny Goat with only two people! Chef and Shelly work with one of, if not the best, crew to be found anywhere:

Kyle Colman - Chef

Dustin Lotich – Chef

Libby Camarena – Sous Chef

Lou Essex – Sous Chef

Mike Burridge – Bartender – Mixologist - Tap Jocky

Chelsea Lotich– Bartender – Mixologist - Tap Jocky

Lynea Moreland- Botanist-Bartender-Lead Server

And of course, we would be nothing without the wonderful people of Grants Pass

What a long strange trip it`s been (Jerry Garcia, Greatfull Dead)

A deep heart felt Thank You too all!

Our staff

The staff at the Horny Goat Gastro Pub are truly the heart of the place, turning a simple night out into a warm, welcoming experience every single time. Even during the wildest Friday night rush, they manage to juggle tables and the kitchen with incredible efficiency while never acting overwhelmed or making you feel like just another number. They genuinely care about their guests, often remembering your favorite drink or checking in with a warm, genuine smile just when you need a refill. It’s that perfect mix of professional, lightning-fast service and relaxed, friendly banter—they can hang with the jokes while making sure your food comes out hot and accurate
